OUR VISION FOR THE PROGRAMME
With the appropriate approvals the Australian College of Chiropractic Initiative will offer a cutting-edge programme for a new generation of chiropractors, responding to growing public demand for holistic and collaborative care. Upon completion, graduates will have the option to complete a 4-month traineeship to ensure a smooth transition to professional life.
The New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) represents a healthy, prosperous precedent, vital international connection and educational ally for the ACC. We aim to take cues from their world-class curriculum.
It is our intention to foster excellence from the outset. As part of that plan, we envisage an entrance criteria similar to the NZCC and based on the following:
- The completion of a first-year cognate university course (A pre-chiropractic year covering subjects such as anatomy and physiology)
- A specialised interview process to gauge the personal strengths of each candidate
- A rigorous selection process combined with intellectually challenging material is designed to foster excellence. Producing research-savvy, academically accomplished and practice-ready chiropractors
