Exciting developments at the ACC!
The ACC has established a top notch Course Development Committee to do the hard work on the curriculum and course design. The CDC is a very strong line up of internationally recognised chiropractic experts from the field as well as the academic world. The CDC has been hard at work for several weeks now preparing the course of TEQSA submission.
The ACC Course Development Committee is:
Assoc Professor Allan Terrett
Chair CDC, Member of the ACC Academic Board
Allan has over 20 years experience at RMIT and more recently has been a visiting lecturer at both McTimoney College of Chiropractic and Institut Franco-Européen de Chiropractique
Dr Pieter Kachelhoffer
Member of the ACC Academic Board
Pieter’s higher education expertise spans 4 countries, most notably and most recently with the New Zealand College of Chiropractic where he was
intimately involved with both professional and government accreditation.
Dr Amanda Frache
ACC Project Officer (Course Development)
Amanda brings a range of skills particularly in the higher education field in Australia where she has been involved with preparing documentation for CCEA evaluations of the CQU chiropractic course
Prof Cheryl Hawke
Cheryl’s experience in chiropractic is vast. Cheryl is a prodigiously published researcher and academic who’s experience spans several decades.
Cheryl’s role will be to ensure scientific referencing in the course is contemporary and relevant.
Dr Tony Croke
A well respected and highly regarded member of the profession, Tony has been heavily involved in the politics of chiropractic for over a decade.
Tony will be bring the chiropractic profession’s view of the course to the CDC.
Dr Matt Doyle
Matt has taught at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic as well as the CQU programme and brings with him both an academic’s understanding Chiropractic education and a professions view of what is needed from the ACC.
With this astounding line up, the ACC will have the highest quality application going on to TEQSA and CCEA! We are looking forward to great things!
